Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson Set For Two Shows

Before KISS dominated the lives of nearly ever teen boy in mid-1970's platforms. Alice Cooper had already welcomed a nation of followers to his nightmare. What Cooper did wasn't new. Theatrical Rock had been terrorizing innocence since Arthur Brown punched Radio's reverb meters with, "I am the God of Hell fire!" And even that wasn't the origin of, "Whoa...." Being compared to Alice Cooper is a compliment. Rock is supposed to upset the elders. Sometimes it only seems to cross the line. When in reality you knew the rules before you picked up the rattlesnake. Who but Marilyn Manson would be the right choice for Alice Cooper to do a couple of shows with? Classic Rock Magazine writes about a poster on Alice Cooper‘s official website indicating the singer will be touring with shock-rocker Marilyn Manson this year. Details for two dates have even slipped out since fans and media noticed the artwork for a tour called the Masters of Madness: Shock Therapy Tour. The PRP.com lists a June 4 show in West Valley City, Utah and a June 23 show in PIttsburgh, Pa. as dates fans can look forward to, although it’s not clear where the website got that information. Smith’s Tix shows the June 4 gig going on sale this Friday at 10AM, with tickets very reasonably priced between $34-59. Cooper has been laying low in recent months, but has appeared on stage with Slash and Johnny Depp since the start of December. The tour page at his official website does not list any dates, only details on VIP packages for upcoming shows. He is confirmed to play the Caprices Festival in Switzerland on March 14.
