Roger Waters The Wall In Theaters Tonight

Big night tonight for Roger Waters. His version of The Wall will play in 500 theaters across the country. The two-and-a-half hour film covers the show he staged around the world from 2010 to 2013 and shows Roger reckoning with his father's 1944 death in Italy during World War 2. It also addresses the human cost of armed conflict today. Waters says, "I hope these worldwide screenings will be a good opportunity to remember, not just our fallen loved ones, but all the other guys' fallen loved ones. Ashes and diamonds, foe and friend, we were all equal in the end." The screening will be a followed by the video broadcast of question-and-answer session with Roger and his Pink Floyd bandmate Nick Mason. For tickets and theater locations log onto FathomEvents.com. No word yet on when the film will be released on DVD.
