Brian Johnson of AC/DC has teamed up with Sting on what critics have labeled a classy jazzy speckled pop piece. Brian's voice is one of the epics of Classic Rock... why then would he go limp? Sting looks at himself as being a confessional song writer. One who takes personal experiences and shares them with the rest of the world. The Last Ship is a landscape of culture. To which music once participated with. Look at the number of separated styles from unexpected regions of the world that have blended into a participation of sound. Sky Hooks and Tartan Paint. ‘The Last Ship’ is Sting’s first full album of original material in a decade. It doubles as the soundtrack to the upcoming stage production. It opens in Chicago in 2014. Then makes its move toward Broadway.
