25 Years Later

Twenty five years ago today. We. The music industry. The world lost Stevie Ray Vaughan. He was opening for Eric Clapton that night and three members of Clapton's entourage, who were traveling with Stevie, were also killed in the crash. He was just 35 years old. Vaughan had come through a lot and was probably in the best place he'd been in ages at the time of his passing. In an interview the year before, he addressed his recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. Stevie Ray talks about getting his life back together and how he was going to learn how to share it.
