The Doors Are In The Library

They were the bad boys from America. Chaos caused by a misunderstood poet. The Doors are now in the Library of Congress The Doors, Sly and the Family Stone and Steve Martin have just been added to the Library of Congress. Its 25 new additions for 2015 include: The Doors' self-titled debut album. Sly and the Family Stone's album Stand!Ben E. King's single "Stand by Me" Steve Martin's comedy album A Wild and Crazy Guy Joan Baez's self-titled album (from 1960) The registry is an archive of "recordings with cultural, artists and historical significance." 25 are chosen each year by the Library’s National Recording Preservation Board. The new additions bring the number of works in the registry to 425.
