Led Zeppelin Tonight
With college hoops on hold. The parties at the movie theater. Tonight. Led Zeppelin hits the big screen. It starts with "Communication Breakdown" from London's Royal Albert Hall on January 9th, 1970 and wraps up with "Whole Lotta Love" from their last British concert with John Bonham on August 4th, 1979. In between are 11 songs from shows filmed in 1972, '73 and '75.

The Doors Are In The Library

The Doors, Sly and the Family Stone and Steve Martin have just been added to the Library of Congress. Its 25 new additions for 2015 include: The Doors' self-titled debut album. Sly and the Family Stone's album Stand!Ben E. King's single "Stand by Me" Steve Martin's comedy album A Wild and Crazy Guy Joan Baez's self-titled album (from 1960) The registry is an archive of "recordings with cultural, artists and historical significance." 25 are chosen each year by the Library’s National Recording Preservation Board. The new additions bring the number of works in the registry to 425.

Here Comes Van Halen
David Lee Roth says Van Halen is just as much a part of American Culture as singing Happy Birthday. Break out the cake and ice cream because Van Halen is hitting the American concert scene. Here comes Van Halen. The biggest news on social media is the return of Diamond Dave and company. The group's North American tour will start July 5th in Auburn, Washington and hit 39 cities before it wraps up October 2nd in Los Angeles. The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band will open up all the shows, which go on sale April 4th.
Van Halen has also announced that they'll perform a special concert for Jimmy Kimmel Live March 30th on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. Performances from the concert will be shown on Kimmel's show March 30th and March 31st. It will be Van Halen's first U.S. television performance with David Lee Roth. Their second will be on Ellen April 2nd. All of this activity is to promote the band's new live album Tokyo Dome Live In Concert and the reissues of Van Halen I and 1984 on March 31st. Remastered versions of Diver Down, Women and Children First, Van Halen II and Fair Warning due out later this spring.

Jon Bon Jovi In At Number One
Whoa... did anybody see this coming? Jon Bon Jovi's been labeled Jersey's most popular rocker. Bruce Springsteen at number two. The poll was printed yesterday inside the Asbury Park Press. Participants were limited to one vote. Without there being geographical restrictions. Bon Jovi edged out Springsteen by a grand total of .66%

Robert Plant Tour
Robert Plant has lined up a North American spring tour in support of his latest solo album, lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar.
Kicking off at the Sasquatch! Festival on May 24th, the English rocker’s trek is slated to hit cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Chicago before wrapping up at Bonnaroo in mid-June. The Sensational Space Shifters will serve as Plant’s backing band, and the Pixies will open on select dates.

Steven Tyler To Do Country Music Solo
Steven Tyler talks about hanging out in Nashville. He's working on his first solo album. Not too many are surprised about him taking on a country feel. He is expected to sign a deal soon with the Big Machine Label Group, home to Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, The Band Perry and Taylor Swift. The album will either be out late this year or early 2016.

Jackson Browne has always lived life through the windshield of a touring bus. That California guy that seems to always fall into the cracks of silence has announced the fall leg of his North American tour. September 5th in Highland Park, Illinois and wraps up September 27th in Reading, Pennsylvania. Tickets for this leg go on sale on March 20th. The first leg runs from July 30th through August 21st.

New Music From Richie Furay
Just because Richie Furay's Classic Rock resume includes a few stints with Buffalo Springfield and Poco. Doesn't disqualify him from living in the present. The Rock n Roll Hall of Famer's back on the road. Furay's current six-piece band includes his daughter Jesse Furay Lynch on backing vocals. Not only does she lead on a bonus track on Hand in Hand, but Furay tells us they've already recorded nine tracks for an solo album by her they hope to release sometime in the near future.
