Kinks Getting Back Together?

Along with drummer Mick Avory have been teasing fans of Classic Rock for nearly three months. Why now? Oh it's that thing called communication. Dave took one look at his brother Ray and said, "It’d be a great shame if we don’t try and do something,” Critics have always called the brothers most famous bickering siblings since Cain and Abel.” But don't expect the Kinks to tour under a nostalgia umbrella. The comeback of the band has to be based on releasing new material not memory busting riffs and lyrics from a past you can't change. Jimi Hendrix is back on the map. His London apartment is now a museum. Pushing the plan forward. Jimi's fans. The new museum will feature more than just memorabilia. Students of music will be invited to participate with learning programs designed to study the connection between classic music becoming the rock genre.
