We poke. We joke. We tend to play. The DVD's that expose the directors decisions to cut, drop and walk away from what's fallen onto the production room floor. But rarely ever. Do the masters of music expose their creative growth. The Beatles. Yeah. Led Zepplin? It's about to happen. Engineer Ron Nevison will auction off the extremely rough mixes of Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti. Which includes Kashmir and Custard Pie. New Asia On The Way

Remember this song? Heat of the moment... That's 80's super band Asia. The riffs and lyrics that once made them big are back with a biting edge. Founding guitarist Steve Howe hasn't been replaced. While he's returned to the group Yes. It's opened the door for Sam Coulson to step in. Sam was a total nobody in the world of music. Until he popped a personal video onto Youtube. And poof. The industry dove toward his success. Asia won out. The new album hits I Heart Radio March 25th. Just in case you didn't catch Letterman. The Late Night King is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles invading America. Sting stepped on stage and played this little diddy. Yes...I've posted the video. New Jethro Tull On The Way

Be it a Classic Rock artist or author of books and movies... Creative people find energy in their muse. Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull is one of them. He calls him Gerald Bostock. A Mythical character whose poetry masterminded 1972's ‘Thick as a Brick.’ Late last week. Ian announced the next Tull project will carry the influence of Bostock with a fancifully spin. Recorded will be the songs of an unpublished manuscript by an amateur historian named Ernest T. Parritt. ______________ Did you know next year is the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead‘s formation? Bob Weir wants the gang to hangout one more time. Claiming its time to man up and get passed the past. If there are hatchets to be buried, then let’s get to work. Weir told Rolling Stone magazine. “We owe it to the fans, we owe it to the songs, we owe it to ourselves.” And I owe you an update.
