You gotta love the way a new tour ignites a fans wish to wanna dig into the rhyme and reason behind the music. After the first single from Heart's debut album flopped, "Magic Man" became their breakthrough, reaching number-nine on the Billboard Hot 100. Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson tells us that the first thing that comes to mind for her when she hears the song "Magic Man" is one of the band's fans from years ago. As for what she thinks when she hears the song? “‘Magic Man’ always reminds me of the guy who said he was the Magic Man. There was the crazed fan who drove around after the tour in an empty truck and he’d always be backstage and he’d always be going, ‘Hey, Annie, I’m the Magic Man, Annie. Annie! Hey, Annie, I’m the Magic Man. So, y’know, everybody was the Magic Man.”
